Curators of the University of on behalf of UMKC and the JCCC Boardof Trustees, will sign an articulatiohn agreement Wednesday at JCCC. The agreementf guarantees that UMKC will accept and appl y designated freshman and sophomore credit s from JCCC associate degree programws towardUMKC bachelor’s degree programs, consistentt with the treatment of non-transfer student UMKC said in a Tuesday release. “Asx an urban-serving university, UMKC is dedicated to making higherf education accessible to all students and formin meaningful partnerships witharea institutions,” Mel Tyler, UMKC’s vice chancellodr of student affairs and enrollment management, said in the release.
“Thise articulation agreement with Johnson County Community Collegs is just one way we affirkthat commitment.” UMKC also offers the Metro a program that allows residents of Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas to pay in-statew tuition for undergraduate
